I guess this movie was supposed to be redemptive when it was released but it has not aged well at all. Grifter type family cons their way into a wealthy elderly woman's (Miss Fortune, get it?)home and life. Plot is totally predictable, however the con father is forced to work at an automobile dealership that sells a sleek futuristic car called the Wombat. That black car is just amazing, looks like a Raymond Looey design and sounds like a Mach 4 when they drive it. If Detroit had made these, there would be no need for a bailout, I would beggard myself to own one. The Wombat showroom with the stainless chassie revolving round like a chicken on a spit is not to be missed.
