Viewer Reviews The casting was spot on. Mercurial Johnny Depp can be anyone, I believe he IS Don Juan De Marco. Even at 300# plus, Brando still has it, Dunaway is and will always be a beautiful woman, and the combination obviously worked. The visit of Don Juans mother from Mexico throws a spanner in the Grandmas very believeable story. In the end, does it really matter what IS, when you can have what you want just by looking with different eyes. The music by Michael Kamen is superb! I have ordered the sound track. If you don't want to get up and dance (with your dog, if necessary)you just have no fantasy or romance in your soul. It is a pity that this movie is relatively unknown.Everyone I have shown it to has been touched. I'm just glad it's available.
