PLOT:
This is an Independent, modern film noir about young, rookie cop Jason Bartok (played by the handsome Chad Allen) who accidently shoots his older cop partner during a shootout. He follows the orders of his injured partner to take the money from the crime scene and give it to a beautiful Chinese woman named Linda (Bai Ling). In order to give her the money, Jason must find out who she is and track her down. BUT thats not all. Lots of twists, turns, and suspense along the way as Jason goes through a series of disturbance, questions, betrayal, romance, etc. Not a lot of action or gore, but this is an interesting movie worth watching on how the story unfolds until the end.

VISUAL:
Great cinematography--the film was mostly digitally shot, making the movie more real-life towards the viewer. The reality-style cam makes us feel like we're actually with Jason throughout the movie. The camera captures good angles of the Las Vegas city lights and carries a dark tone, especially in the beginning where we are introduced to Jason stumbling in the Las Vegas street. There are also some good shots of the desert atmosphere later on.
More to offer from this film is its original score.
TALENT:
Superb, talented acting by the two very attractive leads: Chad Allen and Bai ling. This movie alone is worth watching because of their acting. Their onscreen chemistry also comes off as very natural and convincing. They absolutely sizzle!
Just my opinion. Thanks for reading!

Viewer Reviews
There are at least two great things to look at in this film: Bai Ling and the DV cinematography. Otherwise the rest of the film is boring and a weak rip off of True Romance. Leon (James Russo) is a crooked cop who is accidentally shot by his partner Jason (Chad Allan) during a botched drug deal. Jason is distraught at the fact that he may have paralyzed his mentor so he agrees when Leon tells him to take the money from the dealers and find a beautiful Asian woman named Linda (Bai Ling) whom Leon was involved with. Jason begins an odyssey through many brothels and massage parlors with little luck of finding Linda. At one he runs into a seasoned pro named Chantel (Karen Black) who tells him that she thinks she knows where Linda may be but she also cautions Jason that Leon was not who he thought he was that in fact he is scary and dangerous. This was a bizarre little scene since Black is in an extremely tight corset which pushes up her bust and she just vamps and laughs sinisterly. Jason winds up in Vegas and runs into Linda at a casino. He gives her the money and tells her that Leon is hurt but that he wanted her to have it. She leaves that night with the money and Jason is prepared to go back home but the next morning she shows up at his hotel where she has been followed by the mob who want their money back. Thus begins the rest of the film in which Jason and Linda run for their lives since they are now pursued by the mob and Jason is wanted by the cops who have declared him a murderer. As the two flee from hotel to hotel Linda tells Jason about Leon and how he is an evil man and how he will hurt the two of them if he ever catches up with them. Needless to say the two fall in love with each other and plan on moving to Paris and starting a life together with the stolen money. The film was boring and too much like True Romance but with the exception of bizarre cameos like Karen Black and Ron Jeremy only Ling does a good job in the acting department. Allan may be good looking to the ladies but this guy cannot act. Granted the film is stylish as it was very authentic thanks to the DV cinematography but other than that nothing great here. The special features as the case lists them are a theatrical trailer and scene selections.
