Viewer Reviews If you are looking for a movie of the caliber of "Jeremiah Johnson", this is not it. Although this movie has all the makings of a good one, it never puts it all together. Seems amateurish and forced. Even the musical score just doesn't fit. Hate to sound negative but unless you are buying this for a younger person, you will probably be disappointed. I admit that I have read good reviews that rate "Hawken's Breed" in the top three western movies of all time. But those review must have been written by the cast or their family members. Nice try, but no cigar!
