This is one of the very few 'horror' (more like scifi) movies that gets it right in terms of plot, characterisation and actual story. The unsmiling demeanour of Robert Lansing (reminds me of Robert Stack) adds to the gravitas of the proceedings which, thanks to the seriousness of all concerned, become believable and you feel for the plight of the characters. Great movie, in the same class as 'The Invisible Shrinking Man', going to show that the secret is a good story and at least competent, often good acting. Great to have it on DVD; not a bad transfer, all considered. Far better than my old VHS version.
